THE Alzheimer's Support Blog for Caregivers

Category Archives: Caregiver Resources

Relevant to my last post, this article I found details many of the strange behaviors of Alzheimer’s patients.

Unusual Behavior

Last evening, I heard an amazing speaker, Teepa Snow.  The biography on her website begins, “Teepa Snow, MS, OTR/L, FAOTA is an occupational therapist currently working as a dementia care and dementia education specialist.”

Her website is full of helpful resources including a link to her own YouTube videos about dementia/Alzheimer’s.  She easily mimics the behaviors and common situations that occur when you are the caregiver of a family member with dementia.  She taught me so much about how to relate to my father as I give him care.  I understand more about the disease; thanks to Teepa Snow.
